FELICE LIMOSANI TRANSFORMS THE FEDERALIMENTARE EXPO PAVILION INTO ARTWALL. A DIGITAL E STREET ART EXHIBITION TELLS THE STORY
(Milan, April 8, 2015) – The logo itself, designed like a digital origami, becomes a “metaphor for producing”, as it evokes the values inherent in the Italian agri-food system, deeply anchored in the soil and in the farmers’ daily work.
A true trademark of the authenticity of the products that reach the dinner tables of consumers around the world.
“Cibus in Fabula” is the artistic project designed by the digital storyteller Felice Limosani, whose concept was presented this morning in Milan at a conference attended, in addition to Felice Limosani, by Carlo Calenda, vice Minister of Economic Development, Luigi Scordamaglia, President of Federalimentare, and Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma.
CIBUS IN FABULA ARTISTS
FELICE LIMOSANI MEETS:
AGOSTINO IACURCI, ITALY “Communicating vessels” June 12-24
BART SMEETS & STEVE LOCATELLI, BELGIUM “The Hunt” July 24-August 5
“If it mentioned his music, an art gallery, his videos and countless installations around the world, Felice Limosani’s business card would tell almost everything about him. Instead, his card say simply “felicelimosani.com“, a reference to that website that is in actual fact the key to his world: a multi-medial minstrel who can tell exciting stories by mixing art and technology”
NASTY, FRANCE – 16-26 OCtober
Nasty icon of Parisian writers, discovered graffiti in the 1980’s, during the cultural influence of American street art and hip hop into France. By the end of the 1980s, Nasty had distinguished himself as a prolific subway painter in Paris with his use of bright colors in wildstyle and old school block letters.
OKUDA, SPAGNA 2 -14 – October
Okuda is inspired by the charm of the Italian artist Arcimboldo and re interpreted his work. We will see a combination of several portraits, heads or compounds with organic elements such as fruits and vegetables. The geometry and the strong colours typical of Okuda will be reflected in the whole composition. Okuda reminds us of the importance of food and the natural cerebral level, in a symbiosis between nature and humanity.
